The Master Bedroom is up next on my DIY docket – I’ll hopefully get the chance to get it painted this weekend!
It’s currently sitting empty. It didn’t have a working fan for the majority of the summer – a major necessity here in Texas – so we’ve just been using one of the smaller bedrooms for the time being. (I know! First world problems to the max!)
This was what I requested for my birthday:
A sexy brassy industrialish ceiling fan! (Hampton Bay Devereux II in weathered brass from Home Depot)
So now the room is ready and waiting to be painted, furnished, decorated and inhabited!
Those shiny brass rods aren’t some kind of rad modern sculpture – they’re actually the pieces to my brass canopy bed (you can see it in this post about our old apartment) that I scored on Craigslist for $100 last year!
I’ve narrowed my wall color choices down to these three grays and I love them all but I’m leaning towards one in particular… They are Glidden’s “Wood Smoke”, and Martha Stewart’s “Bedford Gray” and “Flagstone”. Let’s play a game! Who can guess correctly? Which do you like best?
Ah! I can’t wait to have a “pretty” bedroom again! Here’s hoping I get the painting done this weekend!
And here’s wishing a fabulous weekend to you guys as well! May you have paint in your hair and joy in your hearts!
